Shelby Isbister - Owner/ Manager of Bubby’s Early Learning Childcare

Hello! I’m Shelby Isbister and I’m the proud Owner and Manager of Bubby’s Early Learning Childcare. I have over 12 years experience working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve worked with troubled youth, foster children as well as in schools working with children on the spectrum in one on one and large classroom settings. I also have my Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA), Educational Assistant (EA) certificate, CPR First Aid and Mental Health First Aid for youth. I am currently continuing my education and am half way to completing my Early Childhood Educator (ECE). I am now a new mother and starting my dream of running my own center. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and having a great time with all the kiddos at Bubby’s!

Karan Kaur - Manager ECE/ITE/SNE

Hi! my name is Karandeep Kaur, and I am one of the educators and managers at Bubby’s Early Learning Childcare Inc. I have done my Early Childhood Education at Mohawk College. I've dedicated my career to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. I love being around kids because of their curiosity, energy, and innocence. As an ECE, I provide care that's safe, engaging, and tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. My work brings me immense joy, and I'm inspired every day by the children's laughter, creativity, and resilience. I enjoy reading and playing chess. My greatest wish for the children is that they grow up to be happy, curious, and caring individuals who love learning and exploring the world around them. Let's build a brighter future together!!

Mary Joy Caloyloy - Manager, Oak Bay location,ECE/ITE/SNE

Hi, I’m Mary Joy Caloyloy, a passionate Early Childhood Educator with diverse teaching experience and a deep love for supporting young learners in their growth and development. With a background in both early learning and special education, I bring patience, creativity, and positivity into every interaction. I’m dedicated to helping children build confidence and social-emotional skills through encouragement and meaningful engagement.

Every day, I aim to create a classroom environment filled with understanding, support, and joy—because I truly believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.

Muskan Kaur - Manager, Sidney location, ECE/ITE/SNE

Hi, I’m Muskanpreet Kaur, an experienced Early Childhood Educator with a passion for creating engaging, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments. I specialize in curriculum development, group learning, and classroom management, and I love using creative lesson planning to spark children’s interest in art, music, reading, and play. With experience in both teaching and program supervision, I’m committed to supporting each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.

I believe in building strong, positive relationships with children and families, and I strive every day to make learning joyful and meaningful for every child in my care.

Suzanne Goulden - HR/ Operations Manager

Hi, I’m Suzanne! I’m the HR/Operations Manager at Bubby’s Early Learning Child Care Inc. and I feel so lucky to work with such a caring, dedicated team. My role is all about supporting our staff and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. I love knowing that when our team feels valued and supported, they can focus on what matters most—providing the very best care for children and families.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me spending time with my dogs, crocheting, creating art, or planning my next travel adventure.

    Hi, I’m Akriti Sharma, an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) here at Bubby’s Early Learning Childcare. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging space where children can learn and grow. With experience in both childcare and senior care, I’ve developed a strong foundation in compassionate, hands-on support. I love getting to know each child and supporting their unique development through play, structure, and meaningful connection. I’m also certified in First Aid and CPR and always focus on keeping our environment safe, supportive, and fun!

    Hello, my name is Yuvraj. I have a deep love for working with children and creating a warm, welcoming space where they feel safe, happy, and encouraged to explore. I believe every child is unique and full of potential, and I enjoy helping them learn through play, creativity, and positive guidance. My goal is to support their development not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I take pride in building strong relationships with each child and their family, and I’m always here to listen, support, and help however I can. Whether it’s story time, outdoor play, or arts and crafts, I enjoy being part of each moment that brings joy and learning into a child’s day. It’s a privilege to be part of their early years, and I look forward to growing and learning alongside them every day at the daycare.

I have experience teaching and caring for young children both in Canada and Korea, and I love creating fun, engaging learning environments through play, crafts, and themed activities. I’m passionate about helping each child grow confidently at their own pace while feeling supported and understood. With strong communication skills and a playful spirit, I aim to make every day a bright and joyful one for the children in my care.

    Hi, I’m Gurpreet Kaur, and I bring a warm, dependable, and nurturing approach to my role as an Early Childhood Care Assistant. I’m passionate about creating safe, engaging environments where children feel confident, capable, and excited to learn. With a strong background in child health, nutrition, and trauma-informed practice, I tailor my care to meet each child’s unique needs and learning style. I love using creativity and technology to make learning fun, and I work closely with families to support every step of a child’s development. Helping little ones grow into independent, confident learners is the most rewarding part of what I do!

I have a Computer Science degree and several childcare-focused certifications, and I’m always looking for ways to blend structure, fun, and care in everything I do. Whether it's story time, snack time, or just being a calm presence, I’m here to help each child feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
