ABOUT SIDNEY
We operate our licensed child care centres in accordance with the BC Child Care Regulations.
The philosophy of Bubby’s is mainly a Reggio Emilia based approach, with the main focus on the concept of learning and discovering through play. We aim to provide a stimulating, safe, and inclusive space that supports and promotes learning in all areas of each child’s development. We offer an emergent style curriculum, which is a flexible curriculum based on the current needs and interests of the children.
Our daily activities include indoor and outdoor art and sensory play, music and movement opportunities, reading stories together, and plenty of outdoor time. We believe in the power of fresh air and outdoor exploration and head outside rain or shine. We value respect, inclusion, kindness and our diverse community.
Bubby’s Early Learning Childcare Staff
Every staff member hired at Bubby’s will hold current Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)/Early Childhood Educator (ECE)/Infant and Toddler Educator (ITE)/Special Needs Educator (SNE) certification status in BC, along with a valid First Aid and CPR training certificate, a clean criminal record check, in accordance within the BC Child Care Regulations in order to work with young children. Every staff member at Bubby’s Early Learning Childcare is expected to provide the most exceptional level of care in our safe, nurturing, respectful, and loving environment.
